Various Heavylift projects have been handled by us in 2010. 1 of them being the below, where we had to transfer 20 train compartments from Kandla to Colombo, each of them weighing 80 Tons on Full Liner Terms on a chartered vessel.

SAI Aerocean deals in all kinds of ship and port equipment supply, Example - Cranes, Barges, Pontoons and Stevedoring equipment. The below job was conducted in Jan 2010 during the supply of a 110 Ton spreader bar for a leading European shipping company. We were in the process of testing her lifting capacity with sample accesories.The vessel was bound for Singapore.

The SAI Group under our parent company, SAI Freight had recently purchased a 5,000 DWT vessel that was chartered around the coast of India along with regular port calls to the Persian Gulf, Thailand and China subject to inducement. She has a tremendous lifting capacity of 2 jumbo derek cranes having a total combi lifting capacity of 470 tons. This vessel is currently under our group company called Nord Scan Line which is a Joint Venture between the SAI Group and Nordana Denmark, 1 of the largest Shipping Operators in the world.

We recently had the pleasure of handling the loading of 2,000 Tons of steel coils (30 tons each) for a leading multi national company in India. These coils were stackable and the loading took place in Kakinada which is a leading breakbulk port in Andhra Pradesh. The coils were shipped to Moss in Norway and this was loaded on a leading vessel that we had taken on time charter that ran between India and the European Continent.

We happened to be the charterer's agents for 1 of India's leading client, Suzlon Energy. Various of these windmill blades + equipment were loaded in Mumbai and Chennai and were shipped to many destinations like the Usa and Australia for the setting up of Windmill farms.
